Becoming a Better Person
Now that I have identified the support systems and risk factors which affect me from reaching my goals,
the next step is to act towards my goals. Moving forward, the following action plan will serve as the
guide for me in preparing for college. Implementing these actions now allows me to build discipline while
also building the foundation for the achievement of my goals in the near future.
Practicing Mental Wellness
The first step is to start within. My first planned action will be to work on my emotional development
by engaging in breathing exercises and meditation in order to assist me in better controlling my emotions
and become more present in life. Alongside this, I will also accompany these exercises with frequent prayer
and reflection to remind me of how far I've gone, while also contemplating how I can better exemplify Magis moving forward.
Study Scheduling
After building a stable mind, it's time to start acting towards my goals. After classes, I will dedicate at least
an hour of time at home dedicated to just studying, independent of time spent on assignments. I will also
bring myself to also start studying for college entrance exams in order to ensure readiness and ensure admission to
the colleges I'm aiming for.
Maintaining Good Relationships
Aside from cultivating my own skills and character, it's also important I maintain my relationships amidst the hectic
nature of life. Through maintaining good relationships with family and friends, I can ensure that these support systems can
stay open for me in any situation where I might need them in my psychosocial development. In return, however, I must also be there,
unconditionally loving and supporting them at times where they are the one needing help.
Moving Forward
These actions serve as a roadmap for me in improving myself as a person and achieving the goals I set for myself. Not
only do these actions facilitate my development as a teenager, but they also build the foundation for me to live a more
mature and stable life as I move into early adulthood.
